In November 2002 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART, which included the work The Siam Stand at a Palace Exhibition by Nikolai Nikolaevich Karazin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,292.50 (€ 2,023.99), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Nikolaevich Karazin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Coach in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,249.57).

Im November 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion RUSSIAN PAINTINGS AND WORKS OF ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Siam Stand at a Palace Exhibition von Nikolai Nikolaevich Karazin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.292,50 (€ 2.023,99) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Nikolaevich Karazin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Coach im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.249,57).
