Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Apollo by Nicola Grassi was sold in the Old Masters auction at Christies in New York in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,658.31). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicola Grassi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Holy Family, which sold at auction in July 2012 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,211.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Apollo von Nicola Grassi wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Old Masters bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.658,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicola Grassi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Holy Family beobachtet, die im Juli 2012 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 38.211,94) versteigert wurde.
