In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction Topographical Pictures, which included the work Toulgra (Bulldog), Port Jackson, New South Wales, 1802 by Nicolas-Martin Petit. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 162,500.00 (€ 182,869.95), 63% above the upper estimate.
