In October last year Christies in Paris held the auction Collections, which included the work Canard Souchet Au Bord D'Un Plan D'Eau by Nicolas Robert. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,040.00 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas Robert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Quagga in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 84,000.00 (€ 64,625.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Canard Souchet Au Bord D'Un Plan D'Eau von Nicolas Robert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.040,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas Robert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Quagga im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 84.000,00 (€ 64.625,33).
