Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fishing vessels at their moorings, dusk by Nicolò de Corsi was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in November 2006. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,673.06), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nicolò de Corsi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tramonto in costiera in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 14,700,000.00 (€ 13,212.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fishing vessels at their moorings, dusk von Nicolò de Corsi wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.673,06) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolò de Corsi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tramonto in costiera im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 14.700.000,00 (€ 13.212,00).
