Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Niki de Saint Phalle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the Discovery Prints Sale Online auction, the work La Danse sold for GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,598.39) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niki de Saint Phalle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 961,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Niki de Saint Phalle erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Discovery Prints Sale Online wurde die Arbeit La Danse für GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.598,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niki de Saint Phalle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nana Danseuse Noire (Grande Danseuse Negresse) - Circa 1968 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 961.500,00.
