Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work The South by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 66,980.25), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Summer Has Ended in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 572,500.00 (€ 451,000.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The South von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 66.980,25) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikolai Nikanorovich Dubovskoy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Summer Has Ended im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 572.500,00 (€ 451.000,47).
