Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Sale - Property Removed From a Chelsea Townhouse, which included the work The transience of beauty by Noel Laura Nisbet. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,324.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Noel Laura Nisbet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven Deadly Sins in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,665.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Sunday Sale - Property Removed From a Chelsea Townhouse durch, in der auch die Arbeit The transience of beauty von Noel Laura Nisbet zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.324,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Noel Laura Nisbet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven Deadly Sins im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.665,89).
