Despite a disappointment, a good price for Norbert Benoit
This work of art by Norbert Benoit could be acquired at Bonhams in Paris in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Stoclet Collections auction, the work Sans titre changed hands for EUR 38.40 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 100.00 – 200.00. Despite this disappointing result, Sans titre is the most expensive artwork by Norbert Benoit that we have observed at auction so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Norbert Benoit konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Stoclet Collections wechselte die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 38,40 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 100,00 – 200,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Sans titre das teuerste Kunstwerk von Norbert Benoit, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
