A top price for Norman J. McCaig - as previously expected
The work Blue Stack Mountains by Norman J. McCaig was sold in the THE IRISH SALE auction at Christies in London in May 2002. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,748.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blue Stack Mountains is the most expensive artwork by Norman J. McCaig that we have observed at auctions so far.
