Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ono Tadashige achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2011. In the Japanese Art & Design auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,287.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ono Tadashige; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Unknown sold at auction in May 2011 with the realized price of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,429.94).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ono Tadashige erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Japanese Art & Design wurde die Arbeit Unknown für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.287,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ono Tadashige; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Unknown im Mai 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.429,94).
