A top price for Oscar Cahén - as previously expected
This work without title by Oscar Cahén was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2010. The price achieved of CAD 30,000.00 (€ 22,414.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Oscar Cahén that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Oscar Cahén wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 30.000,00 (€ 22.414,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Oscar Cahén, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
