In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Pictures, which included the work Fishing Vessels Moored At The Bay of Naples by Oscar Ricciardi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,359.89), 30% above the upper estimate.
