Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work L'Illustration Horticole: Revue Mensuelle Des Plantes Les Plus Remarquables: Six Plates by P. de Pannemaeker was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,200.00 (€ 988.55). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by P. de Pannemaeker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Illustration Horticole: Revue Mensuelle Des Serres Et Des Jardins: Eight Plates, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 3,120.00 (€ 2,570.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit L'Illustration Horticole: Revue Mensuelle Des Plantes Les Plus Remarquables: Six Plates von P. de Pannemaeker im März 2006 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.200,00 (€ 988,55) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von P. de Pannemaeker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Illustration Horticole: Revue Mensuelle Des Serres Et Des Jardins: Eight Plates beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 3.120,00 (€ 2.570,23) versteigert wurde.
