Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Poisson chiné (A.R. 170) by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Picasso Ceramics auction at Christies in London in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,811.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Poisson chiné (A.R. 170) von Pablo Picasso wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Picasso Ceramics bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.811,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
