In May 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Séquenceur #1 Contemporain, which included the work Corps Du Dessous X, 1996 by Patrick Tosani. The result of EUR 600.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Tosani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait No 13, 1985 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Séquenceur #1 Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Corps Du Dessous X, 1996 von Patrick Tosani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 600,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Tosani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait No 13, 1985 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
