In October 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living with Art, which included the work Male Nude by Paul Cadmus. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,271.67), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Cadmus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lloyd and Barbara Wescott in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 2,430,000.00 (€ 2,152,919.29).

Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living with Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Male Nude von Paul Cadmus zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.271,67) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Cadmus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lloyd and Barbara Wescott im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.430.000,00 (€ 2.152.919,29).
