Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Desert Scenes (a group of three) by Paul Grimm was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The price achieved of USD 5,760.00 (€ 5,314.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Grimm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work San Gorgonio in November last year with an auction result of USD 44,475.00 (€ 43,083.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Desert Scenes (a group of three) von Paul Grimm kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 5.314,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Grimm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit San Gorgonio im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.475,00 (€ 43.083,41).
