This artwork by Paul Guiragossian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in April 2012. In the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II auction, the work Intérieur sold for USD 74,500.00 (€ 56,315.67) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Guiragossian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Lutte De L'Existence in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Guiragossian erzielte im April 2012 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II wurde die Arbeit Intérieur für USD 74.500,00 (€ 56.315,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29).
