Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2005 Christies in London held the auction A PRIVATE COLLECTION OF OTTOMAN & ORIENTALIST PAINTINGS, which included the work Moonlight On The Nile by Paul Pascal. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,979.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Paul Pascal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work An Oasis At Night was auctioned for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,691.12).

Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion A PRIVATE COLLECTION OF OTTOMAN & ORIENTALIST PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moonlight On The Nile von Paul Pascal zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.979,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Pascal konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2005 die Arbeit An Oasis At Night für GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.691,12) versteigert.
