Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Samois by Paul Signac was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Signac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Concarneau, calme du matin (Opus no. 219, larghetto) in November last year with an auction result of USD 39,320,000.00 (€ 38,089,702.61).
