The price achieved of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 359,501.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pedro de Camprobín have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work [Chestnuts on a silver dish, a façon-de-Venise glass filled with preserved chestnuts, a bottle and a tin bowl filled with wine on a table ledge; and Assorted sweetmeats on a silver-gilt tazza, carnations and jasmine in a small vase, and an earthenwar|
