Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in Shanghai held the auction FIRST OPEN | Shanghai, which included the work Butterflies by Peng Wei. The price achieved of CNY 216,000.00 (€ 29,083.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peng Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,242,000.00 (€ 264,636.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai durch, in der auch die Arbeit Butterflies von Peng Wei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 216.000,00 (€ 29.083,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peng Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.242.000,00 (€ 264.636,26).
