Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 66,801.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Beard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orphaned Cheetah Cubs, Mweiga, near Nyeri, Kenya, March 1968 in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 672,500.00 (€ 577,352.34).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 66.801,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
