Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Ponte a Civida Castellano. by Peter Birmann was sold in the Alte Grafik auction at Koller in April last year. The result of CHF 1,000.00 (€ 975.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CHF 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Birmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Basel and the Rhine Valley from the Quarry in Muttenz in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,794.84).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Ponte a Civida Castellano. von Peter Birmann wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Alte Grafik bei Koller versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 1.000,00 (€ 975,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Birmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Basel and the Rhine Valley from the Quarry in Muttenz im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.794,84).
