The work Palm Arbour by Peter Coker was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in October 2008. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,823.92) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Coker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Promenade, Etretat, which sold at auction in March 2000 for GBP 8,280.00 (€ 13,770.02).

Die Arbeit Palm Arbour von Peter Coker wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.823,92) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Coker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Promenade, Etretat beobachtet, die im März 2000 für GBP 8.280,00 (€ 13.770,02) versteigert wurde.
