This artwork by Eduard Ströhling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2004. In the The House Sale auction, the work Hebe sold for USD 11,352.50 (€ 9,125.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eduard Ströhling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Edward Barr Dudding (1804-1822), In The Guise Of Hercules, Circa 1810 in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,730.22).
