Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work Plants by Peter Kinley. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,891.24). Admittedly, works by Peter Kinley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio Interior With Window (Blue) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plants von Peter Kinley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.891,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Kinley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studio Interior With Window (Blue) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
