Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Milan Royal by Peter Paillou was sold in the The Classics Paris auction at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,805.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Paillou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Cockerel, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 6,500.00 (€ 7,459.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Milan Royal von Peter Paillou wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Classics Paris bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.805,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Paillou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Cockerel beobachtet, die im Juli 2011 für GBP 6.500,00 (€ 7.459,72) versteigert wurde.
