Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Street In Tiflis by Petr Vereshchagin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 314,500.00 (€ 378,458.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Petr Vereshchagin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2013 the work View Of Palace Square, St Petersburg was auctioned for GBP 506,500.00 (€ 591,176.21).

Die Arbeit Street In Tiflis von Petr Vereshchagin kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 314.500,00 (€ 378.458,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
