Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction The Sherman Collection | Prints & Multiples, which included the work Emily the Strange, 2011 by Petrina Hicks. It changed hands for a price of AUD 1,168.50 (€ 720.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petrina Hicks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shanae and Jade, 2005 (image size) in April this year with an auction result of AUD 39,360.00 (€ 23,591.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion The Sherman Collection | Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Emily the Strange, 2011 von Petrina Hicks zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 1.168,50 (€ 720,53) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petrina Hicks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shanae and Jade, 2005 (image size) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 39.360,00 (€ 23.591,04).
