Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Australian Aboriginal Art, which included the work Bush Leaves, 2010 by Gloria Tamerre Petyarre. The price achieved of EUR 446.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gloria Tamerre Petyarre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arnherrthe #8 in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,736.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Australian Aboriginal Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bush Leaves, 2010 von Gloria Tamerre Petyarre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 446,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gloria Tamerre Petyarre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arnherrthe #8 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.736,56).
