However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philippe Jacques de Loutherbourg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A wooded landscape with two monkeys eating grapes, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 116,500.00 (€ 148,753.67).
