In October 2014 Artcurial held the auction Sale Benefiting to Fédération pour la Recherche sur le Cerveau, which included the work Chapo - 2011 by Philippe Starck. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 700.00 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Philippe Starck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fauteuil Et Son Repose-Pieds in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 5,040.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Sale Benefiting to Fédération pour la Recherche sur le Cerveau durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chapo - 2011 von Philippe Starck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 700,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Starck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fauteuil Et Son Repose-Pieds im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.040,00.
