In August 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Oeillets by Pierre Emmanuel Damoye. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 750.00 (€ 906.68), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Emmanuel Damoye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prairies Inondées, Pas de Calais in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,764.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im August 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oeillets von Pierre Emmanuel Damoye zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 906,68) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Emmanuel Damoye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prairies Inondées, Pas de Calais im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.764,26).
