In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction British & Continental Watercolours & Drawings, which included the work La Lettre D'Amour by Pierre-Georges Jeanniot. The result of GBP 400.00 (€ 543.53) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Georges Jeanniot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Conscrits in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 36,656.89).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British & Continental Watercolours & Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Lettre D'Amour von Pierre-Georges Jeanniot zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 400,00 (€ 543,53) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Georges Jeanniot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Conscrits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 36.656,89).
