Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pietro Bortoluzzi could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Scenes From A Regatta changed hands for USD 1,680.00 (€ 1,266.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Bortoluzzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Burano, Venice in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,174.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pietro Bortoluzzi konnte im November 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Scenes From A Regatta für USD 1.680,00 (€ 1.266,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Bortoluzzi erzielen.
