Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Cannone 'Bella Ciao' by Pino Pascali was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,500,000.00 – 2,000,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,352,000.00 (€ 1,993,791.41). Other works by Pino Pascali have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2016 by the work Coda di delfino (Tail of a Dolphin) at GBP 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,928,785.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Cannone 'Bella Ciao' von Pino Pascali im Oktober 2005 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.352.000,00 (€ 1.993.791,41) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Pino Pascali wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Coda di delfino (Tail of a Dolphin) mit GBP 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.928.785,62).
