Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pio Joris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Veduta del Colosseo e del Palatino in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 76,400.00.

In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Figura femminile del centro Italia für EUR 150,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 200,00 – 250,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pio Joris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Veduta del Colosseo e del Palatino im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 76.400,00.
