A top price for Preston Dickinson - as previously expected
The work Still Life No. 1 by Preston Dickinson was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. The price achieved of USD 665,000.00 (€ 534,651.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still Life No. 1 is the most expensive artwork by Preston Dickinson that we have observed at auctions so far.
