Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 POLY held the auction The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4, which included the work Figures by Pu Ru. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 2,836.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pu Ru achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Paintings and Calligraphy in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 21,725,000.00 (€ 2,380,265.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte POLY die Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures von Pu Ru zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 2.836,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pu Ru erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Paintings and Calligraphy im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.725.000,00 (€ 2.380.265,84).
