The work Birds on a Pine Tree by Pu Zuo was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,171.02), 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pu Zuo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rabbits in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,287.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Birds on a Pine Tree von Pu Zuo wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.171,02) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pu Zuo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rabbits im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.287,39).
