Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marlene Dali by Pure Evil was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 8,000.00 – 16,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,064.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pure Evil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre - 2015 in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 8,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marlene Dali von Pure Evil kam im Dezember 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.064,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pure Evil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2015 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.000,00.
