Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Historias Cotidianas (Two Works) by Rafa Macarrón was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 31,444.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafa Macarrón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Matilda in April last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 487,498.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Historias Cotidianas (Two Works) von Rafa Macarrón kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 31.444,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafa Macarrón erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Matilda im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 487.498,15).
