Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Un día en la playa by Rafa Macarrón was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 57,785.00 (€ 67,417.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafa Macarrón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Matilda in April last year with an auction result of HKD 4,032,000.00 (€ 487,498.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Un día en la playa von Rafa Macarrón wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 57.785,00 (€ 67.417,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafa Macarrón auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Matilda im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.032.000,00 (€ 487.498,15).
