Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Personaje con sombrero by Rafael Coronel was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2016. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,348.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafael Coronel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peregrinos Iv in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 107,768.40).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.348,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden.
