Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work El taller by Rafael Monzó for GBP 129.25 (€ 204.45). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafael Monzó achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pescadores Y Barcas in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,187.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit El taller von Rafael Monzó für GBP 129,25 (€ 204,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafael Monzó erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pescadores Y Barcas im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.187,15).
