Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Selected Renaissance and Mannerist Works of Art Assembled by Fabrizio Moretti, which included the work The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints Mary Magdalene And Catherine by Raffaellino del Garbo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,502.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raffaellino del Garbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist, Beyond Them A Landscape With Saints Jerome And Francis in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 662,500.00 (€ 835,620.80).

Im Januar 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Selected Renaissance and Mannerist Works of Art Assembled by Fabrizio Moretti durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Madonna And Child Enthroned With Saints Mary Magdalene And Catherine von Raffaellino del Garbo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.502,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raffaellino del Garbo erzielen.
