Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish aline With Flowers by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2018. The price achieved of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 58,489.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pierrette in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 281,000.00 (€ 331,133.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish aline With Flowers von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 58.489,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pierrette im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 281.000,00 (€ 331.133,63).
