Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (The Great Renunciation) by Rama Mukherji was sold in the A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection auction at Christies in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,733.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rama Mukherji have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,884.16).

Die Arbeit Untitled (The Great Renunciation) von Rama Mukherji wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.733,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
